HOT TIPS:
1) A cord is the standardized unit of measurement for firewood sales. We cannot stress enough how many times we see people selling a pickup truck load as a cord. In reality, as cord is about 3-4 pickup truck loads! Fern hollow sells in half cord and full cord increments.
2) Ask for a moisture reading. Firewood should be under 20% moisture. A simple reading can be the difference between efficient burning and substantial issues.
